Muscle groups:
Smaller or larger muscles are found in nearly
all parts of the body, but before you panic, let us start
by setting your mind at ease: you dont have to learn
them all by heart.
Aside from a basic knowledge of where they are located, it
is enough to develop a basic awareness of your
muscles and, even more important, to understand their mutual
relationships.
For the sake of convenience, in the world of weight training,
fitness and body-shaping the body is normally divided up into
nine muscle-groups. These larger groups often consist of collections
of smaller muscles. For instance, your back is one of these
muscle-groups. If you observe the back, you will see that
it is built up of many different muscles.
Chest, Shoulders and stumach

Try to visualize
the various muscles as if they are larger. This will give
you a good impression of how these muscles influence the overall
picture of your body.
Back

For men a good example
of this is the trapezius. A well-developed trapezius largely
determines the front and back aspect of the male body.
Biceps and Triceps

For women the triceps
may be taken as an important example. This three-headed muscle
alone shapes the back of the upper arm. As women grow older
the upper arm often becomes less firm.
By developing the triceps the upper arm will look firm and
well-shaped
